About Us

Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaii believes there is a close relationship between body, mind, spirit and community. We also believe that the best counseling approach involves consideration of all four elements.

Clients’ religious perspectives are respected and may be drawn upon as a therapeutic resource as requested. Our therapists work with those who profess no religious ties or backgrounds, and they do not impose their personal believes upon others.

People seek counseling for help when facing difficult life situations such as conflicts in marriage and family life, depression, loss and grief, work stress and anger management.  Counseling may benefit those who lack direction in life, who suffer a loss of meaning and purpose, or who face spiritual confusion.  Pastoral counseling can provide guidance in coping with problems in living, in growing toward emotional and spiritual maturity and in enriching relationships through a deeper understanding of self and others.

We are more than just a counseling center. Our professional counselors and therapists understand the close relationship between mind, body, spirit, and community. We combine the best practices of today with an understanding of the power of sacred traditions to enhance our lives.
